2003 Emmy Awards

The Emmy awards are different from the Oscar's, not only because one is movies and one is television, but because the Emmy's are more casual than the Oscar's. Because of that, doing a fashion review is a little different; you need to cut the slobs just a little more slack. A little more.
Alicia Silverstone - The it girl of the MTV generation. Her dress might plunge just a bit too much for what she doesn't have on top, but it surely does run up too much in the front for any self-respecting woman.
Walter Cronkite - This old liberal understands what a well fitting tux and bow tie can do for a man.
Allison Janney - This dress looked great on the runway. It fit great, the color stood out and the bag was a perfect accessory. I just wish she had done something with her hair.
Tyne Daly - This was a sack of an old ladies dress. It's too bad Tyne goes out of her way to look OLD. Maybe she wants to be old so she can get fat, I don't know.
Bill Cosby - He wore a tux and that is normally is a passport to looking good for a guy. That being he said, the sunglasses ruin everything. Bill, I expect more from Dr. Huxtable.
Thora Birch - Hello girls!! This was just a little too slutty for the awards.
Brad Garrett - The long tie was the tie of choice for the Emmy's. I'm not a fan of the long tie and the blue just doesn't do it for me.
Stockard Channing - the dress looks wrinkled and the hair is mighty flat.
William H. Macy - Dude, check you collar next time, jeeze.
Simon Cowell - For someone so business savvy, he sure can't dress himself. And what's up with the trim on his gorlfriends dress? Is that a string of twenty's or what?
Catherine Dent - This dress could have been the stunner of the night. The color rocks!! But, what's up with the bottom? It looks like it's melting.
Sarah Jessica Parker - As usual, as diappointment. Her hair is so severe it hurts me to look at it and the whole dress looks like cotton candy.
Cheryl Hines - This dress could have been super, it's sexy, but still classy. Unfortunately, the neck is too low cut and too busy. Too bad.
Robin Williams - A constant fashion disaster and no deviation here. The whole priest look falls so flat on a man like this.
Chris Cooper - I have no idea who this is, but he looked great. He is a great example of how EASY guys have it.
Roma Downey - What is this? Is that a target? Get a husband, OK?
Christina Applegate - I did not like this at all. She is so pretty, but this makes her look very plain. She looks flat up top and fat in the middle.
Paula Abdul - She hasn't looked good in years. What's up with those sleeve things and platform shoes? Please.
Gary Coleman - Looks Great! This is what a good fitting tux and a flashy, but tasteful, tie can do. He has my vote!
